Pretty good deal if you like hot and light 9mm. I've shot this stuff before and it's pretty quality stuff.

If you get enough you can get it for about $0.37/round shipped. Not too shabby for SD ammo.

Not a bad price at all. Never shot Federal's JHP before, but for that price I'll definitely be seeing how reliable it feeds through my 9mm's.
If you can get that round the tried tested a true 115gr +P+ the Secret Service praised that round so did the Ferderal Border Patrol, I told Dekalb Co to go with this round and they did and dropped it after the press they recieved in 08 for all the shootings they had.

Its not bonded so you will get more wound channels which means more blood loss and it hits hard 1300fps out of a 4in barrel Dekalb had 5in barrels.

I have 6 boxes of this.
Yeah, this is Federal 9BPLE (9mm Border Patrol/Law Enforcement).

It was originally developed for the U.S. Border Patrol, and the Illinois State Police had it souped up to +P+ when they carried nines. As Robert said, it was the duty round of DeKalb P.D. for years when they carried Beretta 9mms - not too many folks, either shooters or shootees, complained about its lack of effectiveness.

This is one of my three carry choices for my nines; the other two are Winchester Ranger 127-grain +P+ (RA9TA) and CorBon DPX. 9BPLE is ferocious ammo - be sure your gun can handle a very high pressure (40K PSI) round. I upgrade the recoil springs on my H-P P7M8 and Browning P-35 (and add a recoil buffer to the HiPower) when I load either 9BPLE or RA9TA.

Double Tap and Buffalo Bore have 115gr that are rated at 1400fps. My two spare 9mm mags have 124gr DT Ammo rated at 1300 fps. Recoil is stout but not bad in my steel CZ.
