Greg Phillips is a scammer
Wait, when did Decatur relocate outside of I-285?
Edit to add that Conyers and Covington are out of place too.
That is a screen shot from the film. Only the white circles have been added. How dare you question Gregg Phillips's geolocation credentials. You watch too much CNN.

Gregg Phillips is a scammer.

Stop falling for this nonsense.

Stop making liars rich because they confirm your bias.

Gregg Phillips thinks you are a fool. Stop proving him right.

Where did the debunking overlay come from - scratch that, my post collided with yours - angry fleas on twitter, sounds solid ? We know the source of the one with orange dots. Would be nice to compare trust factor of both sources.

The Washington Post's Phillip Bump has a long interview with D'Sousa that claims to give 2000 mules a good debunking. I read it carefully and found Bump's "what-if's and what-abouts" to mostly be misdirection.

Bump does not trust geotracking either - several AJC and GBI references here:

It all gets back to my original post which says the honesty and accuracy of the geo-data and folks who analyzed it will make or break the premise of the movie.

NTA,

The neat thing is that the drop box locations are not secret. They are public information. You can actually confirm this information for yourself. You do not need to rely on Malum Prohibitum, the Washington Post, or its source, angry fleas on twitter, Dinesh D'Souza, or that scammer Gregg Phillips, who is the main source for 2000 Mules.

You can pick just one location and confirm it for yourself and know who is telling the truth. Is there a ballot box at that location, or not?

So look at the upper right hand furthest travel of the blue line. There are three orange dots there without a real drop box anywhere nearby. This is not a case of a few feet here or there. Nothing is even close.

Either 2000 Mules is right, and there are three drop boxes shown where the orange dots are, or angry fleas is right, and the public record shows them where the white circles are.

They both cannot be correct.

Maybe neither one is correct (but that would not be good news for the claims being made in 2000 Mules, would it?).

Does your opinion matter before you know the truth about those orange dots?

Hmmm - pic did not show up that time.

That is the one from the film without any white circles. The three I was discussing are in the upper right hand corner in Gwinnett. It is easy to tell within a few hundred yards where they are due to the hwy 316 and I-985 splits (see those?). You can probably get more exact by zooming in. The original on your high def TV may be even better, but because the white circles are so far away, I submit that you won't have to be all that accurate to get to the bottom of this.

The angry Fleas claim is that no drop boxes are within miles of those locations.

The answer is public record.

I picked those three only because no white circles are anywhere within miles of those three. Not even close.

2000 Mules and Angry Fleas cannot both be right (although they could both be wrong).

Don't just rest and believe what one or the other is telling you. You have it within your power to discover something rare these days, the pure and unadulterated truth.

Well, "honesty" of course matters, but you haven't paid attention when I have pointed out Gregg Phillips dishonesty previously in this thread, so I will just have to focus on whether the "accuracy of the geo-data" is what will make or break the premise of the movie.

My two cents? It does not matter even a little bit. Allow me to explain. The accuracy is a smoke show meant to distract you from the truth. It could be accurate down to one millimeter but be totally irrelevant if the film is lying to you about the location of drop boxes.

What does the accuracy matter if there is no drop box within miles of where the film claims that its oh-so-accurate geolocation tracking shows a "mule" supposedly dropping ballots?

I think you are setting up a false premise in your mind to buttress the conclusion you already hold. Stop doing that. Find out the facts and evidence first, then reach your conclusion, not the other way around.

By the way, Gregg Phillips already told the GBI within 100 feet was counted as a drop box. Is that the kind of accuracy for which you were looking? Does it matter if there is no drop box within 100 feet, or 1000 feet, or a mile, or two miles or three miles or four miles of where the film shows a "mule" supposedly dropping off a bunch of ballots in a drop box?

Does this more important question matter to you? Was there a ballot box within a mile of those three in the upper right hand corner as represented in the movie? If this question does not matter, then why does it not matter? I assume for the sake of this question that the cell phone geolocation tracking is accurate to within less than a mile or even 100 feet. I just don't think the accuracy matters in context if there are no ballot boxes where the geolocation data supposedly shows mules dropping ballots.

If I claim the the geolocation data is accurate to within 1/8 of an inch, but then I falsely claim that it shows you at a murder site, when there was no murder there, is the accuracy of my geolocation data relevant?

And I know I am "dominating" this issue, a frequent criticism by others of my presence here on GPDO, so I will stop.

But please, somebody, at least tell me this raised a tiny little question, even a small one, just a tiny little doubt about the film's claims, maybe a doubt worth investigating even a little rather than simply dismissing one source or the other and blindly believing one side or the other.

Please, somebody.

No!

Trusting one or the other is exactly what you should not do.

You have it within your power to discover the truth.

Do not simply "trust," wow.

Do not trust. Distrust. Investigate. Somebody is wrong. It might even be both of them.

This is not some far away thing in Ukraine involving foreign language and culture and a war zone. This is Gwinnett County and public information, and dammit, you can even drive over there if you need to do so.

I am not talking about "trust factors" at all.

You may use those for preliminary investigation, but PLEASE do not rely on some internet post by a dude with a pseudonym named Malum Prohibitum. Confirm all information for yourself. It is public record, so you do not have to rely on what you read here or see in some movie.

The claims in 2000 mules should be easy to confirm or disprove if the raw geo data and drop box locations and algorithms are made available and qualified interested 3rd parties take up the challenge. I'm not going to do the work as special expertise is required.

I really like the claim that taking "selfies" at 3AM is a common thing to do when you are at the drop box. Especially when the photos do not include any "self" just the box and bike.

100% of nursing homes voting is my second favorite "fact". No geolocation needed.

I'm going to continue to read the pro and con as to the data analysis. I'm especially interested in those who are screaming one point of view or another. They likely have a motive. They are just too excited to bunk or debunk.

The most amazing thing about the election is the major failure of "Belwether Counties". And repubs winning down ballot (below Biden) elections. Never before happenings are super interesting to me.
