    Hello, all.

I live in Valdosta, and we're either a dry county or city (with the exception of Remerton, which was created solely to get around the law), which means on Sundays, establishments that normally serve alcohol are prohibited from doing so (Outback, etc.).

Has anyone seen any caselaw or rules on whether it's legal to carry in these places on Sundays?

    I have not.

But the wording of the statute refers to places that serve for consumption on premises, not places that are serving at the particular time when you are packing heat.

I would not feel comfortable advising you, if I were a lawyer and you were a client, to go ahead and carry on Sunday.

Opinions abound, I am sure. This topic has come up here somewher before.
