Yes, complete landscape erasure: high explosives don't mess around!

Cases like this always remind me of the Mont-Blanc munitions cargo explosion (the Halifax disaster) - it displaced the water under the ship down to the bottom of the bay, generating a tsunami (and killing a couple thousand people).

Reports said that people had their teeth knocked out half a mile from the blast origin; that visual has always stayed with me!

That grain silo withstood the blast,
and it was right next to it -- 100 feet away from the epicenter!

Too bad the silo wasn't positioned in a way to shield the closest homes & apartment buildings from the blast.
It looks like all the silo protected were a couple of small industrial buildings on that same peninsula and some other industrial buildings across the cove.

That could also describe any Member of NATO other than us.

Not to mention places such as Latvia, Taiwan and several dozen others. #-o

But Netanyahu really has a hard-on for Iran.

We should be more concerned with who they're getting in bed with.

2,750 Tons of Ammonium Nitrate exploding = a 2.7 kiloton nuclear detonation = the destructive power of a Little John nuclear tipped artillery rocket.

I'm going to be skeptical on that claim. If 2.7 tons of Ammonium Nitrate is 2.7 kilotons, then you are claiming that ammonium nitrate has 1000 times more explosive energy than TNT. That seems impossible on its face. Do you have any authority for that?

As a Perry Mason aficionado, my recollection is he lost one case and, in the end, won it.

Your Calculations are not quite right. Ammonium Nitrate has only about 42% of the explosive charge on TNT.

    Therefore: 2750 * .42 = 1155 tons of equivalent TNT.

So about 10% the equivalent of Hiroshima.

OK I will concede to 1.1 kiloton
