A federal prosecutor is under investigation for pulling a gun on an elderly salesman.
The 73-year-old gutter salesman told police that he went to federal prosecutor Bill Thomas’ home Nov. 2 to do an estimate for home repairs, Dunwoody police Det. K. Boyer said. He said police were called to a Dunwoody BP station, where the senior said he was followed.
Thomas’ lawyer acknowledges the prosecutor followed the man to the gas station, but he said he just wanted to get a photo of his car tag. He said the salesman wouldn’t leave Thomas’ home and he needed to protect his family.
