In the past couple of days we have had two celebs die. First: 1. Juan Gabriel. Who, you may ask? Well, he was just the biggest singer (possibly) in Mexican history! He wrote around 1800 songs, and recorded over 50 albums. While his style was not really my cup of tea, I grew to appreciate his music, having lived in Mexico and Latin America. His personal life was strange; he was either gay or (more likely) bi. He never married, but fathered 4 children, all with the same woman. As he aged, he grew fat and wore eye makeup. But he was loved by Mexicans everywhere. Just turn on Univision and you will see. He really was the Mexican Elvis. Here's a sample of his music: [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EnX214riuPw[/ame] 2.Gene Wilder. Comic genius! He was at his best with Mel Brooks, in both Blazing Saddles and Young Frankstein. He was also superb in 4 movies with Richard Pryor, the best of which was Silver Streak (although Stir Crazy is a close second.) Gene was also married to Gilda Radner from SNL. Their marriage only lasted a few years, as she died from cancer after only 4-5 years. Here is one of my favorite scenes: [ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GiKiviD7Nso[/ame] 3. Who will be the next celeb to die this week???
