Apparently, there are two falls with the same name. Which one is the best one to go see?
Do both there are no bad waterfalls up here
Cool weather I'd say Rabun: taller waterfall, more of a hike to get to it.
Warmer weather (depending on whether you consider 60s/70s "warm" or "cool") Lumpkin, as there's a proper swimming hole. It's also more accessible to parking, if that's a factor. The Lumpkin falls is also near Dahlonega, which has kind of a nice square with some good eateries (my family likes Picnic Cafe) and a quite good chocolate shop, things to add to an excursion.
There is a nice place to hike at Dicks Creek in Dahlonega if you know the spot. It's a little rough for some but leads back to a pool of water and a large rock. Be careful splashing in puddles on top of the rock. The holes are deep. I lived in the area a while back and still one of my favorites places to go hiking and camping.
