Saw a couple of these and instantly remembered the militarization of police arguments.

Honestly, I have a problem with a dozen AR armed guys storming a house and ripping walls and windows out because one of the suspects MAY BE armed with a handgun.

What I was really disgusted (at the BGs, not LEOs) was a couple of instances where they were busting into places that they have raided as many as 9 times before. And one of the locations was next door to a house they raided the day before. Then again, we know most criminals aren't smart. They keep doing this stuff because they get away with it for so long before they are put away for good.

Oh, in one case the BGs were running a sex/night club out of the basement of their house, in a residential area with 50 ppl inside. That would be such a nightmare for the neighbours. To top it off, they had 3 little kids upstairs. :shock:

I think that's the primary argument against the proliferation of SWAT teams. As we all know, boys have this primordial need to play with their toys. We can't help ourselves!

However, when the toys are armored vehicles and guns......

It can be dangerous out there!
