    I think what is missing from this particular story is the mention that the same thing could have happened to anybody living in Baltimore, and yet this Detective can carry while the rest of Baltimore cannot.

    If you have money of course. It's next to impossible to get one in the PR of MD.

    I spoke to a friend of mine tonight whose father and uncle are very well connected in the political circles in Maryland, and he had his permit until he got a DWI. That cost him the permit for 10 years. He told me if I wanted one up there to call his dad and ask what to do. I'm going to follow up on this one and see where it goes. It will prove that it's who you know, or that it doesn't matter. It would be like the Holy Grail of permits if I can get one in that state.
