Dekalb Co Permit UNSIGNED!

    I received my permit today, but it does not have a judges signature. Is it still valid?

    Well the law does not say it is invalid if it is not there, it does say in the license specifications 16-11-129(f) that a license shall

    We have had one case of a clerk signing one, (which I think no LEO will notice) but it is another thing not to have a signature at all.

    I would go get that fixed. Maybe call them first and have new one ready before you go over there.

    I just pulled it out and took another look. It appears that there is a red stamp/seal and a stamp signature. It is just overlapping the middle of the card, and over about half of the fingerprint. I guess it is just sloppy on their part. I apologize for the post, and that you for the input!

    Always better to ask if you are not sure than to just assume you are fine and it turn out that you are not. :)
