My CZ-52 came in today and I picked it up tonight. It's in real good shape and came with the original holster, cleaming rod, two mags and lanyard. The only problem is that my case of ammo won't be here until Thursday, so it will be a few more days until I can give a range report.

Word of caution with the CZ-52...don't ever trust the decocker. They are not reliable.

I've read that. The first thing I'm going to do when my ammo gets here is to go to the range, chamber a round and test the decocker a few times to see if it works.

I've also read that you shouldn't dry fire them due to brittle firing pins. http://www.makarov.com sells an updated, hardened firing pin for them.

I can solve your problem about the ammo,Forsyth County Pawn Shop has the
ammo for the CZ52 last time I checked. How I know this is because I was shopping for my 762 Nagant pistol and they thought I wanted 762x25 ammo which
they said they had.So if you wanna shoot it that bad go to Forsyth County Pawn Shop.

I can't shoot tonight anyway. I'll be standing guard, ready to shoot zombies that get too close to my door.

Greetings,

I read 9and tested my 2 CZ-52 that way) to test the deckoker is to put a pencil in your canon and decock. If the pencil does not move, it works.

Does it make any sense?

Thank you

That's what I read. All o fmy daughter pencils are the plastic, mechanical ones, so I'll wait and test it at the range with a round in it.

Neither can I. According to UPS my ammo left Johnson City, TN early this morning and is sitting in Doraville as we speak. It's scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

Since I got my ammo today I took the CZ to the range tonight. I really liked it but had a couple of issues.

1st the good.

It had a great feel to it, sounded like a cannon going off and was a blast to shoot. The accuracy was dead on after a few rounds to get used to the sights.

Now the bad.

One of the mags is bent and won't feed.
Out of 70 rounds I had about light prmer strikes. The primer was dented but wasn't hit hard enough to fire.

I'll call Classic arms in the morning and see what they say. I'm going to ask them to replace the gun. I'll post after I talk to them and let everyone know what they say.

A few of the GT members have sai dthe the light primer strikes may not be that. They said that it may be hard primers on the milsurp ammo. Does this sound feasible to anyone?

Could be, but I'd check with Classic anyway. Just to be safe.
