The crocodile survived the plane crash but was later killed with a machete by rescuers sifting through the wreckage.

Yeah, I always come running to the scene of a crash with a machete in hand.
Never know when you might have to lop somebody's head off to save them from a painful death trapped in burning wreckage.
Learn from my experience, though. A machete will slice through a seat belt and 11 inches of muscle and bone.
So the only good way to use it on seat belt entrapment cases is to first slide it between the victim's flesh and the belt, and make a sawing motion outward.
A swift chopping motion directed inward leads to secondary injuries and complicates the triage process.

GS I hope we never share a ride.
Reminds me of my father asking his buddy once,"If we are in a crash and you appear to be in great pain...Do you want me to ease you on out?" The look he gave dad was priceless.
