Crandall Woman Takes Aim at National Shooting Title

I ran across an old (October 12, 2010) newspaper with an interesting headline about guns and shooting today.
The Dalton "Daily Citizen" newspaper had a front-page article, continued in section B (sports), about a local woman whose huband got her interested in shooting some 20 years ago, and now she is about to compete in the USPA (U.S. Practical Shooting Association) championships in Las Vegas.
The subject of the article was Beth Wingfield, and the author of the article was Drew Brantley.
Again, I realize the newspaper is from last October, but I just came across it today, and I don't think this article has been mentioned here before.
It's good to see some positive coverage of the shooting sports, especially this kind of practical action pistol shooting.

I'm kinda surprised that they actually said "Crandall Woman" in the head line. I'm pretty sure you just about have to live in Crandall to know of it's existence. No offense to Crandall, of course.

Well actually the title is 'Talented shooter's husband triggered her hobby.'

Edit: Re-reading Gunsmokers post, maybe the paper version has that headline. I would guess that folks in Dalton might be familiar with Crandall. I know where Crandall is, but that's just because that's where you turn to do the Rocky Flats ORV Trail.
