Oye. And I have stopped reading the campus carry stuff because, well, I am annoyed as hell about it.
That makes two of us!

I don't eat there quite as often as I used to, but still go fairly regularly (every month or so). Most of my visits are either in MCdonough or Fairburn and I'm usually openly carrying. I've never had any comments made, either by staff, management or customers.

My family and I ate a late supper at that very same store just 24 hrs ago. I saw no posted signs whatsoever regarding firearms. I was EDC CC, so no harm no foul.

You know out of curiosity I googled cracker barrels policy....I found nothing good....from several states.

No physical policy....but many many people saying they're keeping their "ANTI" gun policy quiet so people will keep eating there....so they will not answer questions on it.

Not looking good for them I suppose....though I'm sure a lot of gun owners will still eat there, maybe....a lot won't.

from a business perspective, answering the question is a lose/lose for them

Aye, it appears so.

Word travels though...enough people get asked to leave they may as well come out with it.
Well, I'm going to continue to OC there, but in the meantime I think I too might be contacting their corporate office.

Me, too. I have to think this one issue was a fluke, especially since I have carried recently, openly, and I have even carried openly in that very store where the news report originated, as have others here.

For now I am chalking it up to an ignorant manager and some ignorant customer service representative who answered the telephone.

It would be nice to have some sort of definitive answer. I do not want to spend my hard earned money there if Cracker Barrel policy is to ban firearms.

For now, I am assuming it is not.

Well, an update.
Store at Kennesaw, GA
An old man walks around the dinning room OC a smith & Wesson revolver, probably as old as him. Maybe a model 10.

No one cared.

Go figure.

Yeah but remember, from what I understand, kennesaw has it on the books that every home is required to have a firearm for protection. Incidentally, don't they have the lowest crime rate in the state?

I don't have the time nor the inclination to research this, but I would almost guarantee 100% that NO...they don't have the lowest crime rate in the state...probably not even CLOSE. I would further guess that a large number of residents (who have lived there 5 or less years) have no idea about that law.

Just openly carried (see what I did there MP?) in the Madison CB, no one was killed, all left sated.
Hey.... wait.... ins't that a split infinitive? I don't come hear for blatant grammatical abuse!
/sarcasm (and yes, I know I used 'hear' instead of 'here' - couldn't help it).
