I went back to the gun show in Norcross and bought myself a new M&P 9C. I can't wait to take it out to the range and fire a few hundred rounds through it.

ber950 beat me to it. That is my new addition and is one sweet firearm. I especially like the trigger action as you don't have to deal with a DA trigger pull followed by SA, or a LEM trigger or the like. It is simply one standard trigger pull (about 5 to 6 lbs) from first round to last.

Well I was finally able to find the time to go to the range. I shot about 300 rounds in total. The weapon lives up to the M&P name. Even though it is a compact, in those few hundred rounds I didn't even notice the smaller size. Maybe if I had fired more I would have, but in those three hundred round the weapon was substantial and didn't tire my hand at all.

The only thing that is giving me any discomfort at all right now is my thumb. The magazines were very tight and it took a lot of strength to get that 12th round in them.

Overall, I would have to say I am very satisfied with this purchase.
