Is it illegal to carry in Corp of Engineer controlled parks? Is it illegal to carry while boat fishing in bordering waters between GA and SC if crossing over to the SC side? If so does GPS dictate the border line? Is it illegal to carry in any of the parks at Clarks Hill (Thurmond Lake)?

Federal policy/law has not yet changed regarding firearms and COE land. I'm not sure about the legality of carrying in the water ways.

    And welcome to GPDO!

= Lake Lanier.com referencing Code of Federal Regulations, Title 36, Part 327.13

They may be in the process of modifying/eliminating the rule, but it's not gone ..... yet

Does ACOE land include the Chattahoochee NRA? Like the Palisades trails?

The signs there say that the place is part of the National Park Service, and the U.S. Department of the Interior. Not the Army Corps of Engineers.
