All the pages (non-forum) on this site (and Packing.org's Georgia Page) should now include the soon-to-be-effective changes to the Georgia Code.

I created a License Renewal Guide to go along with the updates (I noticed I had no renewal section).

Good question, I have no idea. It would probably up to the court if they wanted to or not.

As gunstar1 pointed out, good question. It's a big open hole in the law. Clearly, more than a single 90-day extension was not thought necessary because the renewal would be issued within 60 days.

well, i've had my permit for a month now so in 5 years
when it's time to renew the law will be changed again.
    (hopefully for the better)

According to one of my coworkers Fulton Co. issues more than temp on renewal. They took more than 90 days on his last renewal. Also, they have been running fingerprints on renewals for years.

Yep. I'd apply the full 90 days before.
