Be patient if you are "CLEAN" it will come. I got mine in Cobb and it did take 5. Our community here is working on fixing that.

That's good news that Cobb is issuing faster than the "four months" they told me when I applied last week.

BTW, I did not provide, nor did they ask for my SSN.

Hmm.... Was it on the application? (Yes, I know it sounds like a dumb question, but I hear some of them fill the form out for you and just ask you the questions).

It was on the app and the print cards. I didn't fill in SSN or occupation. She asked about occupation and I said, "International man of mystery." :wink:

Actually, I said "Self employed," and she was fine with that.

Got GFL today in mail.

I got an early Christmas present in the mail from Cobb County Probate Court. My GFL arrived today--just over the 60 day mark (71 days). Applied 9/19/07, date on license 11/29/07. Wife applied 11/21 so I hope hers will arrive even sooner.

Congrats! 71 days is still way too long, though. We need to fix* Cobb County.

Oh. When I applied a month ago they were still asking work info. Had the SSN spot crossed out with permanent marker.
