well, i finally got a day off during the week.
went clayton county annex 3 to see the probate judge
fill out my app. this was a very pleasent expieriece.
the clerk was very friendly. just an overall good job.
but, i get to the jail to have my prints done, the lady
in records tells me the machine is broken. i will have
to try back later. i tell her it has taken me three months
to get an off day to come down here today. i don't know
what i'm going to do now. maybe i can leave work early
tomorrow. i'll keep you posted

sorry to say, yes i did, employer too.
no employer addy. or phone #. just name
as far as ssn she said app. would not go
through without it. i told her that it was
against the law to ask for it then she got
a little pissy. but she was very nice before
and after she took my money.
like i said over all a very nice expieriene.
except the ssn and employer thing.

well, i got my fingerprints done today.
after i did each finger then four fingers
on each hand she said "o.k. your done"
i said all i have to do now is wait?
she said "it takes what 60 days?"
i said according to the law yes, 60 days
but i don't know too many people that
have gotten theirs back in 60 days.
she then said (and i quote)
"it's not from our end,WE WILL HAVE THIS
BACK IN A WEEK, THEN IT GOES TO THE PROBATE
JUDGE. WHAT THEY DO IS NOT UP TO US"

i'll keep you posted

Any time frame over 7 days is counted by calendar days not business days.

1-3-1(d)(3) COMPUTATION OF TIME. Except as otherwise provided by time period computations specifically applying to other laws, when a period of time measured in days, weeks, months, years, or other measurements of time except hours is prescribed for the exercise of any privilege or the discharge of any duty, the first day shall not be counted but the last day shall be counted; and, if the last day falls on Saturday or Sunday, the party having such privilege or duty shall have through the following Monday to exercise the privilege or to discharge the duty. When the last day prescribed for such action falls on a public and legal holiday as set forth in Code Section 1-4-1, the party having the privilege or duty shall have through the next business day to exercise the privilege or to discharge the duty. When the period of time prescribed is less than seven days, intermediate Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays shall be excluded in the computation.
