does anybody know about clayton county?
other than the over charging for a replacement.
No one has given their personal experience for Clayton County. The information I have is off of their website.
Tony, did you get yours there? Wnat to PM Gunstar1 with your experience?
i don't have a permit yet. i will be applying. on my next off day
during the week. i was courious how i would be treated in
the process. i will keep you posted.
well, i finally got a day off during the week.
went clayton county annex 3 to see the probate judge
fill out my app. this was a very pleasent expieriece.
the clerk was very friendly. just an overall good job.
but, i get to the jail to have my prints done, the lady
in records tells me the machine is broken. i will have
to try back later. i tell her it has taken me three months
to get an off day to come down here today. i don't know
what i'm going to do now. maybe i can leave work early
tomorrow. i'll keep you posted
Did you give your social security number?
sorry to say, yes i did, employer too.
no employer addy. or phone #. just name
as far as ssn she said app. would not go
through without it. i told her that it was
against the law to ask for it then she got
a little pissy. but she was very nice before
and after she took my money.
like i said over all a very nice expieriene.
except the ssn and employer thing.
well, i got my fingerprints done today.
after i did each finger then four fingers
on each hand she said "o.k. your done"
i said all i have to do now is wait?
she said "it takes what 60 days?"
i said according to the law yes, 60 days
but i don't know too many people that
have gotten theirs back in 60 days.
she then said (and i quote)
"it's not from our end,WE WILL HAVE THIS
BACK IN A WEEK, THEN IT GOES TO THE PROBATE
JUDGE. WHAT THEY DO IS NOT UP TO US"
i'll keep you posted
does 60 days mean 60 days or 60 business days?
Any time frame over 7 days is counted by calendar days not business days.
o.k good, i might not have to wait as long i thought. =D>
I found it, check my last post
