I have the opportunity to attend the powder Springs police Department Citizens Academy and I am wondering if it is worth the 3 hours a week for 10 weeks plus a 4 hour ride along?

I would appreciate input, especially from curent of former LEO's.

This Thursday I will finish up the one done by the Columbia County SO. I've had a fun time see a little bit of the inside of the SO here.

I'd recommend it for anyone who just wants to learn more about what the SO does.
