Citizens Academy

I have the opportunity to attend the powder Springs police Department Citizens Academy and I am wondering if it is worth the 3 hours a week for 10 weeks plus a 4 hour ride along?

I would appreciate input, especially from curent of former LEO's.

Do they give you a miniature plastic badge and a PBA bumper sticker when you finish the course?
