I've been several times. It's not a case of you've seen one, you've seen them all. Each production is unique and very different from all the others. You will have a lot of fun, and it's nothing like a Ringling Bros circus, which sucks IMHO. Cirque du Soleil harkens back to the old Art Nouveau circuses of France where the people in the acts actually had talent.

This!

I have been twice in Vegas and once here.
Well we had a good time. Forked out the money for vip so food and drinks were included.

Bag check at gate. Sign with prohibited items includes guns.

I had my .357 in my front pocket and had no issues.
Yep. They were more concerned with bags. My .357 was bulging pretty bad and they didnt give me a second thought.
Super fun. Well worth the money. I thought I'd be bored too, the first time.

Incredibly talented folks.
Contingency plan?

If they did detect your carry gun and refused you entry, did you have a plan ready for storing it and coming back unarmed and still making the showtime?
(Assuming they'd let you, and not just ban you from the show for trying to get through security with prohibited weapons).

Nope. I was 90% positive i wouldnt have an isssue
Of course. Most weapons "screenings" are just security theater to pacify the sheep so the sheep will "feel safe" and spend their money there.

Which

Which brings up another issue:

What can we do to reverse this illogical thinking of the general public?
How can we convince them (not just judges and legislators) that having licensed, background-checked armed citizens in public places and gatherings ENHANCES safety, or at least does not impair it?

We need to win the hearts & minds of the people, and not just count on the government shielding us from discrimination that the majority of our fellow citizens would like to impose on us, thinking (incorrectly) that they'll benefit from us being disarmed.
