The anti's do not trust your "judgement" when it comes to relying on you to fulfill this responsibility.
The government knows best, right? Especially since it will likely be some unelected bureaucrat who doesn't think people should own guns making the decision.

The anti's want their government making all decsions for them. It's just the ingrained, brainwashed mindset. Therefore they have no responsibilities for their own lives and what happens. It'll always be someone else's fault when something goes bad/wrong.

I appreciate the replies guys.

I have the wheel gun. I'm going to work on making a personalized wooden pistol case for it. I'll post end results once it is completed.

I believe he will love it.

Artificial light is terrible.

I'm working on getting a custom case made for it.

My dad never cared much for guns. But he always expressed interest in having a revolver like "those cowboys" had. In particular, he wanted a .22LR version.

Some might call it a bastardization of the Colt .45. I call it to each their own.

Rough Rider .22. It's a hefty little guy at 36 ounces. It feels solid. I was skeptic of it due to the price until I saw Hickok's review. I found one new online for a steal so I decided it was time my dad acquired one.

The picture really doesn't do it justice. It looks damn good.

Nice. I could be bothered to go shooting one of those. Wheelguns Rule.

Saa

Even though the Colt Single Action Army was a state-of-the-art killing machine back in the late 19th century, it's truly a sporting gun today. And I like traditional wood stocks, blued steel sporting guns. I get sick and tired of all the tacti-cool black or gray phosphate battle rifles and wonder-nines dominating the gun chat these days. This is a handsome pistol, and I hope your Dad loves it.
Good idea about the presentation case. I thought about doing the same thing for one of my guns, but I could not find a factory-made case of the right dimensions, and I was (and still am) unwilling to have a cabinet maker or frame shop build a custom display case for me. If I found the right size box with a glass lid, I would have attempted a D.I.Y. molded inlay for the gun and a box of vintage ammo, and lined it with red velvet.

I'm working on trying to find a mass produced wooden box, but with quality wood. Roughly the size of a cigar box. I just have to ensure the dimensions work.

Then I have a trophy shop in town willing to engrave his name on the wood. I'm going to do the padding and lining myself most likely.

I believe he will love it as well. It will certainly come as a surprise.

I'll post the finished product in better lighting.

He did! I managed to make him speechless.

He has been talking about wanting one for years and was genuinely surprised.

We took it out to shoot. It shoots quite well. Sweet little trigger. Once I figured out where it was shooting (sight is off a little) it was a tack driver within 15 yards.
