JUst FYI, the title of this thread made me think that somebody was shooting a bullet at 150K feet per second. I wasn't thinking "frames per second."

Those are rail gun or other application speeds such as lasers being sped up by radio waves and electrical methods :)

Prince Rupert's Drops are glass, but they are stronger than steel. More on Prince Rupert's Drops.


As you can see from the videos, when shattered, the vibrations from the tails are what makes them shatter, but they can sometimes take large strikes and not break.
