Yes boys and girls, at the gun show today, butter did it!

Whilst wandering around, I spied a Spartan by Remington made in Baikal, Russia 12 ga coach gun. It was a little out of my price range... As I left home for the show my wife said, "Make sure you have enough money and don't buy anything!" Yeah, thanks honey...

I returned to our table and started telling ol' butter-butt about what I had found when I realized I was talking to myself. He was halfway up the stairs! :rightawaysir: I didn't know the kid could move that fast!!!

When I caught up with him, he was holding the shotgun and drooling on it like a St. Bernard with a ham hock... :yum:

Butter-butt was in lust!

Anyway, I assisted him with the negotiations. :bat: Just a little bit...

Well, I held him down because he was ready to buy right now, at any price, without any haggling. \:D/ He just wanted it!!!!!

However, with my assistance, he managed to save $55.41 off the original price. :woohoo:

He ended up getting the gun at a reasonable price and I think he's fairly happy with it... :D :) 8)

All that remains is taking it to the range... :uzi:

Oh, yeah. That, and paying for it.....

Is it a good gunshow so far? Good selection? Details please. I may swing by tomorrow..
Not as good as past shows in Cobb. The selection on pistols is pretty good. Rifles and shotguns seemed pretty decent too. I didn't really see any great "deals" though. The only thing I spent money on was the sight adjustment tool for the AK.

However, as always, :2cents: , is all this commentary is worth.

Good luck with that tool :). Much easier using a rubber mallet and dowel, IMO. I did buy the tool before I realized it though.

Budder's new gun looks nice. 8)

I can't wait to hear the reviews :uzi: :uzi: :launcher: :launcher:

and he's going to make one of these holders out of pink tye dye material

first time I've been to one of these shows down here - the building looked bigger from the outside - when I got inside it looks like a small gym at a high school - but dealers packed in there.

pro2am sorry I missed ya - I think I got there about 1:15ish
and Mr. Mack - how come I didn't see you?

It was good meeting everyone :)

You stood and talked with me for about five or ten minutes.

Since butter doesn't seem to have time to post a picture of his new coach gun, once again I'm taking care of the kid.

This is his gun except this one is tu-tone and his is all blue.

He also spent considerably less than this guy is asking...

I'm beginning to think I should have bought it myself rather than telling butter about it... Cool gun!

I agree! Old, slow, and easy to spot. That's the best looking target for me....
