Scary. One of my good friends, and his partner, were coldly murdered in their squad car way back in the late l960s. He was a hell of a great guy and was shot down like a rabid animal. Actually, the two shooters were the animals!
I'll never understand the mind-set of people who go "gunning" for cops. Sick, twisted, evil people. That's one class of thugs who truly deserves the death penalty!
56% support a ban on that poll. Good thing it isn't scientific. Although it probably isn't far from the truth because of how evil the media paints these "devilish assault rifles". They never mention anything about them being used for competition, or collected as a hobby. No, that would make way too much sense.
Funny that they have a poll about so called "Assault" rifles attached to a story where the scumbag who actually shot the cops used a shotgun.
As for the 56% that voted to ban them, I bet not very many could articulate what an "Assault" rifle is.
the other interesting poll is
And people wonder why I carry a pistol?
I'm not a cop, so where do I stand on the food chain?
I read through the comments... chock full of 'dumb'.
Have any police officers been killed or wounded or even threatened with .50 BMG rifles? Ever?
"Armor piercing handgun ammunition" - Huh?
There must be an echo on that site. Some of those comments are posted 4 and 5 times.
I think they mean the Ap rounds for the 5.7 that civvies can't get anyway. Or maybe even 7.62x25, like the CZ-52. Of course, that's only going to have a chance at defeating armor ranging from cardboard up to Level II and maybe even up to a Level IIIa.
Why should they be able to? Even Congress can't.
Those opposed to a new ban are now winning.
Did our 743 members swing the poll?
Now, 56% oppose a ban.
Either some wants to flood the board, or they don't understand the concept of delayed posting of comments.
