Does anyone know if a brewery that sells beer by the glass would be considered a "bar". I might go to an event at Jekyll Brewery, and they do sell beer by the glass, and they don't sell food. This sounds like a bar, but I was wondering if anyone had investigated this yet.

Bars are private property and no longer subject to state firearms carry regulation.

They aren’t bars. They more closely resemble a store that sells only one thing, or a restaurant with no food, or drinking a beer at a friends house and paying them for it. But they definitely aren’t a bar. We go to Monday night, and Arches all the time. Nobody drinks to excess there. You have a pint or two, and get a growler filled, and go on home. No big deal.

Bars are not able to sell for off premises consumption.
