Maybe I'll give it another try. When I used it for cleaning I thought the residue was a little too oily. Using the spray gets everything oily. I normally don't use alot of oil after cleaning, just a drop here and there, especially when cleaning my Glock (it literally gets 3 drops).

We'll have to see how it does as a mixer for gin later tonight.

Be sure to add a little Tabasco.

I tried it again and liked it. This time I cleaned my rifles as usual with Hoppes#9. After I was done, I sprayed the bolt and action with CLP, let is soak for a bit and woked the bolt a few times. The action in my Mauser is just about as smooth I can can remember, and the action in my new Mosin is just as smooth.

I also mix CLP with baking soda and make a few extra bucks on the side.

I use the spray can.

I use the spray too. I hold the gun over the garbage can, spray, then set it on some newspaper to soak.
