On Saturday, I shot a bowling pin at 100 yards with an AR15. I missed the first shot, but I found the dent in the backstop. I hit it with the second shot.

With my CZ Scout I shot a target 5 inches tall and three inches long from 200 yards. AND I beat my Dad in the contest.

Nice! That 5" x 3" target at 200 yards is really impressive.
    Keep up the good work.

You can't win against Pops. Either you let an old man beat you, or you beat an old man. It's a no-win situation.

I'm not sure I would be calling MP an "Old Man" just yet.

To a kid, Dad is always old. When my sister and I were still very young, Dad was in his 30's, we were talking about something in line at a fast food place. My sister called Dad old and this 60 something year old man piped up that he must be ancient. Karyn said "Nope, no matter what, Dad is old because he is Dad. It has nothing to do with age."

My son gave me an Old Timer pocketknife for my birthday this weekend. Was he trying to tell me something?

You're slippin' MP... the old man knife is the kiss of death.

Great job, Jr! :righton: When you get to that point, you're a serious marksman.

"...I remember the first time Kevin beat me. Ha. I was so proud of him. I gave him a little congratulatory punch in the arm. And then another. And then everything got a little hazy. Kevin went to live with a foster family for a while..."

Hey MP Jr. , just wanted to jump on here real quick and vouch for you.

I was a witness to the contest and MPJ drove that second shot home like a pro! Wish we could have put that on video for you MPJ. Not bad for picking up that rifle for the first time.

Oh MP Jr., my daughter says she is ready for a little competition. She was impressed with your skill level. :D

With age, comes wisdom. And age is just a number, unless you let it slow you down. Now would somebody tell my body that?

If he pays you an allowance, let him win every now and then.
