At least this thing has a hemi! Need a few parts but drove it home.
Hopefully the valves were adjusted. Damn hemis tear themselves apart if they arent
And a royal pain to tune...
So what's the plan?
Leave the exterior like it is. No one will ever attempt to jack it.
Might want to put a headlight on the side where both are missing. Maybe a turn signal over there too.
Needs a front license plate.
Find a parts car and fix it hope to have about 1200$ total including paint, this truck and parts
Who died in the wreck?
No one the lady I bought the truck from drove it home
Does not appear to have enough damage to be another car involved or hitting a pedestrian. Appears to be a rather low speed punch into a pole. A slide on icy road or something similar I'd guess.
Low speed wreck on st Simon's. Also she only had liability so insurance cant total what they didn't pay out on
There is nothing to adjust. Those older hemis can have problems with valve springs and seats, but they aren't nearly as bad as the newer models. The lifters go bad in the newer ones and will eat the camshaft if you don't catch it soon enough.
Terrible. I loved all the srt products I've owned but didnt trust any of them past 100k.
Nothing like a good truck that you don't have to worry about messing up!
Going to the junkyard tomorrow in search of parts for the dodge and my chevy truck.
