Whoo Hooo.. It finally arrived yesterday, 10 March, applied on 16 Nov '05. It took 114 days. The probate court told me when I called them on 28 Feb that it would take about 5 months. Guess they found it. Anyway I'm happy now!

My mom lives down there! Sorry it took you so long. My mom got hers in less than a month. Guess it helps when you know all the judges.

How can it possibly help when you know the judges? I mean, their hands are tied, right? What with the AG opinion and the GBI and FBI holdups and all . . .

It is very rarely talked about, but there is a loophole that allows them to issue the permit early. However, that loophole can ONLY be used when they feel like it.
