Having lived 15 minutes from Illinois/ 30 minutes from Chicago...When they first passed the law allowing people to get a permit\license, the requirements were so ridiculous no one could get one, you had to have 8 hrs of training by their appointed trainers...yet they wouldn't list any trainers for the longest time.
And the cost was stupid high.
Not sure what it is now, don't really care to look it up...just know i'd never move to that state.
