    Went to Autreys. :D
Had a good time. Got the hat but no gun. :(

Was it just me or is the trigger on the carbine lousy? I thought the safety was on it was so heavy.

Got my hat too!! No call yet about gun  Guess I may just have to fork over the $700.

Personally, I liked all of them. The 90-two shoots very smooth and felt nice in my hands. I loved the CX4. Didn't really notice the heavy trigger. The PX4 at Pannell's jammed a lot. My wife, and I and a couple of friends all had jams. I could tell the Beretta rep was frustrated. Doesn't help with sales :) But afterwards, we went to Ed's and I shot 350 rounds through my PX4 without a single problem. I really love that gun!

All in all, a good day. :D

    Beretta Range Day

Went to Autrey's on Saturday. The rep let both me and my daughter shoot all three weapons. I always enjoy it when I get to shoot someone else's ammo!

    Here's my impressions(s)

    1. The CX carbine. Very impressive! I did not find the trigger bad at all. Stiff, yes. An impedement to good shooting? No. What amazed me is that shooting left handed (I'm a southpaw) with the weapon still in right handed configuration was just fine. The carbine ejects cases at a forward angle and I had zero problems with blowback. I loved it! Sure is pricey though (pushing $700)

    2. PX pistol. Amazing SA trigger! Very comfortable and controllable. Has a rotating barrel recoil system (think Desert Eagle). I had zero malfunctions but my daughter experienced two. I suspect limp wristing. I really liked it, and the price is reasonable too (about $450).

    3. 90-2 pistol. A reworked 92. Worked as advertised. Beretta has incorporated some new ergonomic features like replacable sized grip assemblies which should improve 'holdability' for those with small hands. SA trigger is improved over the stock 92 trigger.

All in all a fun range visit. Too bad I didn't win anything

    Beretta Range Day

No, we were there a good bit later, around 1600. It was obvious by the time we got there the factory rep was trying to get things wound down.
