Any $$$millions$$$ in ad valorem taxes coming due? Of course, the Court of Appeals might rule it a usufruct after all. We'll just have to wait and see.
I don't think it's posted yet.
Wow. 6 years in the making, and this is where we are.
Your rights are safe. If you have enough time and money for the legal system. Or maybe not.
Guys, you can't really be surprised. The trial court is going to rule against us pretty much no matter what, even if it means avoiding mentioning the tax issue.
This case will be won or lost on appeal, which is where it is already, again, right now.
Too bad trial judges can't be fired for getting overturned on appeal too many times, especially if the subject is always the same.
Heading to Atlanta Botanical Gardens tomorrow night..... looks like I’ll be going in without my sidearm. Boo.
It'll be cold. Just wear a coat. It's not like you go through a metal detector.
Before anybody wants to jump all over me about private property rights, that is the whole issue in this case and 37 pages of discussion.
Does anyone have a link to where we can read the latest decision? I have looked for it but cannot find it.
Go to https://www.georgiacarry.org
Then, on the left, click on In The Courtroom
Then, amongst all those cases, do a word search for "Botanical"
Click on it
Then, go to the bottom of the page and read the most recent decision of the trial court.
Then, again on the left, click join...
I thought there was a metal detector. ?
At the Botanical Gardens?
Can anybody confirm? I haven't been there in a while.

Is the last line in that other thread from outdoorstrader correct?
No, it's still working through a spate of corrupt judges and political activism.
