Has anyone here had experience with one? I fondled one at Forsyth Pawn this morning. It was $440 NIB. I really liked the feel of it, and being 9mm will let me get a 91911 without adding a 6th caliber to what I need to keep on hand or breaking the bank. It also gives commonality between it, my M&P, my wifes XD, and my Hi-Point Carbine.

When/if I'm ready to get it, I'll try to find one to shoot first. I have heard from a few people on 1911forums that love theirs. I did find out that Armscor is the company that makes the Rock Island Armory 1911s.

I was about to say... was it labeled/branded Rock Island?

Armscor 'Arms Corporation of the Philipines' makes RIA and the 'new' Charles Daly 1911s. The RIA 1911 is in my top three in my search for a 1911-style pistol, and the 9mm caliber is also high on my search.

I was waiting to save up a few bucks while I wait for a gun show to come to town, where I plan to look at some.

It's labeled and marked Armscor.
