Talledega, AL

Yes, I know, Easter weekend. wife will be out of town and I am considering going. It is recommended for experienced shooters, having completed at least one Appleseed. Anyone else?
I'm attending. You are going to LOVE IT! Talladega is like heaven and Rusty and crew are excellent instructors.

I've a been to a couple KD's and seeds and have loved each and every one of them. I can't express how wonderful each event is.

If I have one piece of advice ... make sure your rifle has a zero on it. That way you can quickly get dialed in. To often, attendees spend all morning trying to get on paper and miss out on a lot.

I'm Mike. You can spot me on the line as the lefty shooting a 16 inch Seekins AR with a scope with a brown ground pad. Come say hi.

I learnt some more and had a great time (always do).

I love Appleseeds because we get to shoot so many rounds under time pressure. It's like 4 competitions in one day. The one day events are intense and a challenge.

My rifle failed me. It started short stroking once we got to the 200 yard line. Actually, it started earlier but I ignored it. I now believe that I need to adjust the gas block. We'll see.

The next one day KD is Aug 11, a Friday. I'm thinking about redeeming my honor then and retesting/reconfirming the rifle.
