Has anyone picked up the new S&W Bodyguard 380?
I'm looking for the wife a weapon, and I narrowed it down to 3 choices, the Body Guard, the Ruger LCP, or the Walther PK380.

Wasn't impressed with the LCP, so i guess i'm down to the Walther or the Smith.

Any Concerns, Issues, or suggestions?

There were some issues with the early pistols. Don't know about recent production. I had one (unfired) and sold it before the price dropped. If I were going to keep a .380, I would buy another S&W though.

The wife is a fan.

My personal opinion on the ergonomics?
The P3AT backstrap is too pointed.
The LCP is too square and boxy.
The Bodyguard 380 is just right.

If I were shopping for a lighter running gun, it would probably top my list.
I'm still undecided on the TCP.
Kahr's p380 is pricier than I could justify for a general purpose pocket gun at the moment.

I totally agree with you Sir.

The wife really likes the Laser that comes included, so i think i will be making that purchase in the next week or so.
