Better be careful. Tax man is hunting you. And it could be a gold mine for the state.

    Un-good.

Guess I'll drop Netflix. Nothing to see there since I finished all 6 seasons of Longmire.

Did you watch Hell on Wheels? Turn: Washington's Spies? Mindhunter? Ozark?

It's not just Netflix, it's everything you download or stream from anywhere... books,
    music, porn...

Already saw Hell on Wheels and Turn, Washington's Spies. I'll check out the others.

On topic: I have become my neighbor, Jack. When I was a kid I mowed Jack's lawn. One day we were talking and he stated, "I am always against taxes. The government has enough of my money, and they have wasted that!"

I have always remembered that conversation. Jack was a wise old man!

We saw this with VOIP services. I started with Vonage in 2004 and my monthly bill was $12.99. When I left Vonage around 2009 my service cost was $9.99 but my bill after taxes was $28.

The government will tax it, democrat or republican....they just can't help themselves to leave money unturned.

They will tax purchases. Purchased video, streams, books, etc. This will drive people to further bootleg stuff.

So, will they tax the free version of YouTube? ...or the free version of Pandora? What about all those free podcasts out there... like Armed American Radio? ...or Ridiculous History? I listen to both of those, and a few others.

Hey, maybe they'll tax Facebook users...
