Since your firearms license application is recent, please send your experience with the application using the form at the bottom of this link.fallison said:Hello from the mountains. I am a long time firearms user, new to carry. Well, I will be new to carry if my license ever gets here. Look forward to learning and participating in this forum.
I will report as soon as I recieve (Sunday will be 60 days). The application process was smooth. They asked for my SSN but didn't require it (much like background check). No questions were asked about employment.Malum Prohibitum said:Since your firearms license application is recent, please send your experience with the application using the form at the bottom of this link.
Thanks!
Also, did they request your SSN and employment information?
I can't find any thread or information on my county (Towns).lsu_nonleg said:Have you already checked the thread for your county so you can anticipate how egregiously your probate court will violate the statute?![]()
It won't necessarily be within the 60 day guideline...hate to say it but it's been true.fallison said:I will report as soon as I recieve (Sunday will be 60 days). The application process was smooth. Yeah I have noticed that It is kinda strange that up until a couple days ago, we were supposed to believe that background checks on those "living in the shadows for years" could be accomplished in 24 hrs but they can't do checks on law abiding, life-long citizens (who surely have more thourough paper trails) can't be done in 60 days.ptsmith24 said:It won't necessarily be within the 60 day guideline...hate to say it but it's been true.![]()
I sure do hope it gets there quick. I have a SA XD 45 Compact with a Comp-Tac IWB. Shoots like a dream. I've ran about 600 rounds (75% FMJ - 25% WWB HP)through it without any failures.ptsmith24 said:I sure do hope it gets there quick. Took 35 days in Bulloch county. :righton:
What do you have to carry if anything? If you don't have anything, what do you want?
Nice...which Comp-tac? I have the Infidel (IWB) with belt loop snaps.fallison said:I have a SA XD 45 Compact with a Comp-Tac IWB. Shoots like a dream.
