I used to work for Ford. Our parking lots were fenced and had gates...gates that were very rarely locked. According to this, the company could still bar employees from having guns in their vehicles.
I didn't see anything in the article stating the lots had to be maintained in a secure status, only that they be capable of being secured. Sounds like a loophole. A BIG loophole...!
