Android phone question: When I plug my android into a USB port on my laptop, the lap top sees it as drives E (phone itself) and F (micro SD card in the phone). To back up my phone can I use Windows Backup, and tell it to back up drives E and F to drive C ?

What do you want to back up from the phone? The contacts, favs, apps?

All of the above. My iPhone always has a backup in iTunes. If I needed to reset, restore or replace the phone I could reload everything that I had on it.

In short.. No that will not work... All of the good data is stored generally in a third "drive"... If you have it set google can back up a lot of the data like settings bookmarks ect...other than that the best backups are rooted phones only...

Root it and use MyBackupPro. You can then offload the backup files to your PC for safe keeping.
