last month according to the story which
apparently just came out Friday.

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/25566603/detail.html

Three guns were stolen from a Norcross shooting range Sept. 17, ATF Atlanta Special Agent Richard Coes said in a Friday news release.

Surveillance video showed the burglar sneaking into American Classic Marksman on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard through the range’s air ducts. He climbed down from the vent above the shooting area and stole three guns, Coes said. Coes said the burglar snuck out the same way he came in.

I wonder, are they now stealing guns form the stores because it has gotten so dangerous to break into homes to steal them? Maybe word has gotten out on the street you may get shot breaking into somebody's home (all those armed citizens don't ya know).

This would also be burglary, not robbery. Robbery involves them confronting a person to take stuff.

Yes, burglary. A non-violent burglary, too, since breaking into an empty commercial business location in the middle of the night is not a situation where you expect to confront people.
Still, it can get the offender(s) 20 years in prison for a first offense. Just for the burglary. Damage to property, possession of a gun during a felony, and other charges could add a few years to that.
