Does anyone know if they serve alcohol at the movies at Discover Mills?
It's been a while since I was there last, but I do not recall them selling alcohol.
Give them a call, as I am interested in the answer.
Well, I tried calling them on 3 occasions prior to our journey there, and the phone simply rang and rang and rang.
I just made sure it was concealed and took a leap of faith. I didn't see any signs of alcohol at the concession stand either, so I'm going to say that this place is safe.
I've never seen anything that indicates that they sell alcohol there, and I carry there.
ditto on Adams comment
Beer at Cinema???
Um, does any movie theater sell alcoholic beverages? I have never heard of that, except for "dinner theater" where they'll serve you a meal while you watch a second-run movie or live play.
But then, I'm not in the habit of buying any food or drink at movie theaters. So maybe I'm just ignorant of some new trend in the Atlanta entertainment scene. I figure, if I'm going to just throw away handfuls of money, I'd rather scatter it over a crowded downtown sidewalk on a windy day. Far more satisfying, and not nearly as unhealthy as eating the junk they serve at theaters.

Mugs and Movies, in Statesboro.
That one house with full service and a bar ruins the entire theater for carry.

Re: Beer at Cinema???
That's the reason I asked the question. I had never heard of it before and didn't want to get myself into a bad situation.
AMC Theaters used to have Buckhead Backlot in Buckhead that served Alcohol and Food with a movie. Don't know if it is still around though.
Yea, it's a pain.
It's still around.
It's so funny to see you ask about AMC theaters. I went to one at Stonecrest Mall, and my wife pointed out two small "No Weapons" signs on doors.
Signs? What signs? I didn't see any signs.
My seeing eye dog didn't point any out, so I figured that I was fine.
There are small signs on the doors with a picture of a revolver with slash thru it. I'll take a picture of it on my way home from work.
So carry an auto.
It does sound to me that these alleged "signs" ban revolvers.
Oh that sign. I thougt that was to remind me to not leave it in the theater.
