Upgrades to the software is coming, use this criteria to select for bumping off the flight:

no ethnics
no women
no young, no old
no one with identifiable religion
no handicapped
no doctors

that means white-bread, middle aged, men are OK to re-accomodate

OK to bump doctors if they were/had a troubled past.

Troubled past of doctor dragged off United flight sparks debate about fairness
Updated: April 11, 2017,
by Mari A. Schaefer , Staff Writer

A day after a Kentucky doctor was dragged off a United Airlines flight, the story remained the focus of intense national attention, and the doctor's own past became a subject of conversation.

. . .

It took virtually no time for his hometown paper, the Courier-Journal, to point out that Dao, a father of five and grandfather who went to medical school in Vietnam, had his medical license suspended for about 10 years for illegally prescribing painkillers, including to a patient in exchange for sex. It's all a matter of public record.

TMZ reported that while his medical license was suspended, Dao "made a killing" as a World Series of Poker player, earning a total of $234,664.

The euphemisms from the idiot CEO are getting to be a bit much, even in today's climate.

"re-accommodate"? Seriously?

"to explain apologetically that he was being denied boarding" - ah, hello moron he had already boarded!

"Our agents were left with no choice but to call Chicago Aviation Security Officers to assist in removing the customer from the flight. He repeatedly declined to leave." Really, adults and they couldn't think of anything else they could do? How about what one pilot for United said 'let one of them use the jump seat in the cockpit"? Or, well anything other than assaulting and humiliating a PAYING customer?

I'm appreciative of the fact that United has helped me by eliminating themselves from my consideration for future air travel, ever. Thanks, United.

Jimmy Kimmel Funny Quote...

"'Re-accomodate' - this is how we re-accomodated El Chapo out of Mexico." - Jimmy Kimmel

I love it!

So they boot four paying passengers on the airplane to accommodate four airline employees. As was mentioned, why couldn't the fourth employee fly in the jump seat, and save the doctor from getting a busted lip?

I hope he sues the crap out of United Airlines - and gets MILLIONS of dollars. $$$$$$$$

FYI "re-accommodate" isn't a modern PC euphemism. It's industry jargon that is used worldwide and has been for decades. It's abbreviated Reaccom and used synonymously with Rebook.

The rest of his statements do seem like PC damage control.

But I still think there's more to this story.

What if a GWCL holder was asked to leave a store for open carrying? What if he refused? What if he got belligerent? Would the store be within its legal rights to ask the police to come and escort him off the property? What if he resisted the police?

Maybe United could have used more carrot than stick, but I seriously doubt that the "victim" was just minding his own business when force was initiated.

Insider jargon doesn't absolve it of being PC BS when used to the general public. Look around the net, that one word has more condemnation that anything else that clown said.

Scott Adams speculated on that in his coffee talk. He didn't know anything about the guy and was just talking about the video he just saw, but he pointed out the passenger wasn't cowed and knew to go limp when they dragged him out. "This wasn't his first rodeo," Scott said.

Speculation. Trying to turn the doctor into a shyster of sorts. Considering the lack of space in a plane aisle, I'd go limp too to avoid getting further injured.

You know the bloody face Dr came back on the plane, went to the back of the plane and kept saying "I need to get home" or some such ?

How'd he get back on the plane ? And did they drag him off again ? That's the trouble with just one video. No context.

Since the airline was not in a legal "overbook" situation they had no authority to harass then physically haul off anyone. It's been a long time since airlines treated their customers as customers.

It is good to get some idea of how licensing of doctors works, in Kentucky at least.

Good idea to check out their credentials before entrusting your health to just anyone.

I think he was likely minding the seat he bought a paid for...if you don't want to sell the seat or don't want me on your plane don't take my money. Once I've paid admission and been accepted in, I am staying.

I'm not sure why that causes you any consternation -

We have a Defense Department to fight wars..
We 'prosecute' the war effort instead of engaging in combat
We 'service' targets instead of bombing them

No one is deaf anymore, they're hearing impaired or aurally challenged
No one is blind anymore, they're sight impaired or visually challenged

New videos released today indicate just that - he was minding his own business, polite, firm, but <GASP> said "No" politely. He was actually apparently trying to call his attorney when they initiated force from what the new videos show...........
