"An Airbnb guest was arrested after a Minnesota host found the man naked in bed with his young daughter.

The homeowner, who was not identified, called police Sunday night to report that Derrick Aaron Kinchen had allegedly tried to sexually assault his 7-year-old daughter.

According to KARE, a criminal complaint states that Kinchen was renting a room in the family's Minnetonka home for a wedding.

The homeowner said Kinchen, 28, returned to the residence late Sunday night and climbed into bed with the little girl. The child had been asleep in her parents' bedroom."

This father was alot more rational than I. I don't know that there would've been anything for the police to arrest.

On a second note I've used Air BnB before but never to stay in someones house. Always to rent a guest cabin etc... I think I will keep it that way.

Yeah, no one I don't know well is spending a night or so in my house. Whether I am there or not.

EXCLUSIVE: Airbnb guest pleads guilty to stealing luxury Rolex, Louis Vuitton items from Manhattan apartment
BY Shayna Jacobs, NEW YORK DAILY NEW, Monday, January 16, 2017

A woman busted for allegedly looting a Manhattan apartment she booked from a woman she met on Airbnb didn’t stop there, prosecutors said. She also stiffed the owner on the rent.

Victoria Doramus was released from jail Wednesday after admitting she stole Cartier and Rolex watches, handbags, Louis Vuitton luggage and clothing from a woman who rented her Bowery apartment to Doramus, authorities said.

Doramus, 32, paid for the pad with “two separate checks that bounced†to Julie Maximova, Assistant District Attorney Meredith Dempsey said in court.

Absodamnedlutely this
Yeah, screw that. I'll pick up strangers on the side of the road in bad weather (I'm always armed, at home, at work, and traveling) but that's as far as that sort of thing goes.

If I ever find a man in my little girls room naked, I'll give him as long as it takes me to draw my pistol and start firing to get out of my house alive.
The facts of this case are close enough to those in Harris v. State (Ga. Ct. App. 1914) that the reasoning of that case should apply.
If some dude is about to lay pipe to your wife or young daughter, that's the kind of emergency that justifies getting your gun and carrying it, without any license, to the scene of the would-be sexual encounter so you can shoot the dude.
Justifiably.

Regarding daughter, that could still be good law. But regarding the wife, presuming consent, that part would be surely overturned.

I cannot see any court permitting the shooting of the consort of a willing spouse. I suspect the hot blood, overcome with rage, only manslaughter defense would not fly far either.

Regarding the 7 year old child, yeah I can see that. If you can get it to the jury I think they could easily go with nullification.

Why would you do Airbnb in the same place where your young daughter is sleeping? I've got to question this person's intelligence.
