Does anyone here use Aguila ammo? I've been looking to buy 1,000 rounds of Brass cased 9mm. Target Sports has Aguila 124gr fmj for $185.30 with free shipping. I'm familiar with the name, but have never personally used it.

Does anyone here have experience with it?

Only in .22lr, some of their .22 loads are pretty accurate and I don't remember many failures at all. I would expect it to be on par with Win, Fed, Rem, ect. bulk range ammo. I do think that I have an old box of their 9mm hollow points stashed away, it was pretty much the only hp I could find at the time. I think that was back around '08 after the election.

I have shot their 9mm before, and never had any problems with it. Don't think I currently have any, but I think it was 124gr.

I've shot lots of it. Good ammo.

We used to call it Mexican Remington.

I can't beat the price locally without getting going to steel cased wolf.

For 18.5 cents a round I'm going to order a case next week.

My 1911 and VP9 run smoother on the 124gr.

I just need to decide between the Aguila, or PPU. They are both the same price shipped. I wish I get it locally for the price.

Shot a box this weekend, it was fine. It's the house range ammo at On Target gun club in PTC
