Watching on line. No info yet as to hurt or suspect.
Kids reporting it was a shotgun. 16 to 17 shots, and possible pipe bombs were tossed into art room by shooter.....claims a 18 yo senior student who spoke to a kid that was in the art room.
8 dead being reported by News coming from Law Enforcement.
Some commentator on Fox news said we will probably find a common thread of a facebook post made by the shooter. I suspect the REAL common thread is the shooter was bullied by other students. This is where the attention needs to be focused. School bullies need to be dealt with by suspending, removing from sports teams and/or expelling.
a recent report stated explosives were found in the school.
Confirmed by Gov that shooter used a shotgun and 38 revolver. Kid was 17 and took guns from father.
Shot up an art class primarily. No explosive devices found yet but they are still looking for them around school and neighborhood.
Confirmed as of now, 10 dead, 10 wounded.
Common threat found will probably be an anti-depressant drug.
Bullying has gotten worse in schools over the years because older siblings or friends of people being bullied can no longer deal with the bully without getting arrested.
And with Facebook, instagram, Twitter, etc the bullying doesn't stop when you leave school for the day.
When I was growing up you had to deal with the idiots at school but when you went home it was a different world and you could forget it.
Kids nowadays dont have that escape...
I also heard that a shotgun was used - also belonged to father.
(bolding mine) Yea they do, it's called the power button. You can block people, or just not go to those sites. Not trying to place all the blame on that though, the people perpetrating the bullying need to be brought to justice too.
Yes they do need to be brought to justice. Problem is it goes ignored by faculty until some kid has been bullied to the point of taking justice into his own hands. There are much better ways of dealing with bullies than cold blooded murder. Schools need to deal with the problem before it reaches this extreme. Kids need to understand they are personally responsible for their actions.
For your review and interpretation.
Read a story earlier that he posed with a nazi jacket. I think we will hear all kinds of things in the next couple days.
Article I cited says he wore an Iron Cross Medal on his duster. Duster was worn daily, regardless of weather conditions.
Just heard he was bullied at school. Poor little bullied, Trump hating nazi, leftist, antifa, socialist, democrat liberal. He really showed them who had the upper hand. I hope he gets the death penalty. It's the same penalty he gave to the bullies and others. While the bullies needed some form of punishment they did not deserve to be murdered. There is no justification for what this idiot did. If every kid bullied in school shot up the school there would be no school left untouched. Every school has it's bullies and bullied.
A shotgun and a .38? I think we all need to storm the Dicks Sporting Goods Facebook page and demand that they stop selling these dangerous weapons. After all, there appears to be a couple of firearm manufacturers still willing to sell them to Dicks....
From the arraignment -
"He used his father’s Remington 870 shotgun and .38 caliber pistol in the attack"
Fox News - http://www.foxnews.com/us/2018/05/1...as-school-shooting-suspect-officials-say.html
A fully automatic pump action shotgun and a .38 revolver with a high capacity assault magazine. Please get your facts straight.
The gun banners are going apoplectic over this.
Yeah, let’s get rid of all guns, that will work.
Perhaps these gun control idiots need to be reminded how the battle of Yorktown was won. They unloaded their guns, made a sneak attack in the night, and attacked with fixed bayonets.
If you get rid of guns, you’ll still have knives and Bayonets.
Not if you live in the UK. Unless you're a muslim, of course.
