I was sitting on the intra-campus bus today waiting for people to get on and take their seat. I had my iPod going and was just looking out the window.

Then, an older gentleman (mid 50s) walks past the bus. On his right side at about 3:30 was a safepacker holster. He walked past where I was gazing and it too a second to register what I just saw. As soon as it hit my brain what it was I said to myself "This guy's packin'!"

Must have looked weird to the other people on the bus to see me smirking the whole ride.

Sweet idea for packing!

When I opened my practice in Metter, one of my 1st new patients came in and I asked him to empty his pockets. Out came a 38 snubby, a bunch of loose bullets...

A few months ago I was helping an elderly patient to his car. The door opened to his car and in the map compartment was a HUGE 44mag, and a smaller wheel gun. No holsters.

They are everywhere!!! I love it.

It's a good idea really because basically he is hiding it is plain sight . Not even other gun owners are gonna see that and realize what it is unless they concealed carry and have looked through all the different options.

Yep, every time I see a fanny pack now it screams Concealed Carry because nobody else would wear those now.

My wife's cousin is a Federal Investigator for the Dept of Health and Human Services. They are required to carry concealed at all times. She's range qualified for drawing a Glock 22 out of a fanny pack.

It's the funniest thing now that I look back on it...

My dad used to carry around a fanny pack all the time when I was a little kid. I wonder how many people saw it and said to themselves "I bet he has a gun in there."

She specialises in investigation of Medicare/Medicade fraud. The people who are being investigated for fraud are not always nice, law abiding citizens (even alot of the Dr's they investigate). DHHS investigators are sworn Federal Officers trained at the Federal Law Enforcement Academy in S. GA. They are required to armed at all times when working. Alot of times, when investigating majorbmedical offices and groups of Drs they partner with the FBI. She is a former small town police officer, and wants to go to the FBI academy.
