I think DPMS sells 7.62x39 ARs, but I'm not sure if they sell just the upper.

But why?

The whole point of the platform is the flat-shooting round. Move into the 7.62 you're not getting anyting but cheaper ammo and a lot more excuses. Just get an AK if you want to shoot 7.62. At least they look cooler.

Didn't say I would buy it. I've heard that that round, coming from that platform has had problems. It's like the old saying goes...Russian ammo out of Russian guns and vise versa.
